This 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Gorilla Safari is a worthwhile Uganda safari tour that combines big game viewing in Murchison Falls National Park with mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Detailed 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Gorilla Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay in Entebbe. Once at the hotel, check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park, Zziwa Rhino Tracking
After an early breakfast, meet our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which is in northwestern Uganda.
Firstly, you will have a stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will engage in an experience of rhino trekking. After this activity you will have lunch and then proceed to Murchison falls national park. Once in the park, proceed to the top of the falls for a chance to see the thunderous waterfalls making way through a 7m gorge.
Proceed thereafter to your lodge. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Nile River Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, meet up with your driver guide to go for the morning game drive which starts very early in the morning. During the game drive you will follow different game tracks such as Buligi and Victoria where you will view different animals like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, bird species like black bellied bustard, secretary birds, open billed stork, grey crowned crane, goliath heron among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Later after a sumptuous lunch, engage in a boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls. The Nile River boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours. During this time, you will have an opportunity to cruise meters away from animals at the shore like elephants, buffaloes, hippos and Nile crocodiles in water. Additionally, aquatic bird species such as the King fisher’s, fish eagles, Bee-eaters, Herons, cormorants among others are abundant.
After the interesting boat ride, finally meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Optional Game Drive/Relax at the lodge, Fly to Bwindi, Batwa Cultural Tour
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and spend the morning relaxing. After an early lunch, drive to the airstrip arriving in time for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You have an option of having a morning game drive if up for it, have a picnic lunch and then connect to the airstrip for your flight.
Upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will be met by your second safari guide who will welcome you and drive you to your lodge for check in.
You will engage in a cultural tour and interact with the Batwa people, enjoy traditional dance performances and thereafter return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Finally, the cherry on top: gorilla trekking in Bwindi! After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven by your guide to the park headquarters for a briefing of the gorilla trek in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. After briefing, you will continue into the forest in groups of 8 to look out for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
When you find the gorillas in the forest, you will spend 1 hour with them, enjoy taking photos and observing the gorillas before returning to the briefing point to meet your guide. Get your gorilla trekking certificate and thereafter drive back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night as above.

Day 6: Flight to Entebbe, Ngamba Island Visit for Chimpanzees
On the last day of your safari you will have breakfast and check out of your lodge. Your guide will drive you to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe International Airport.
Upon arrival, meet our driver to transfer you to the dock, in time for your Ngamba Island visit, the home of chimpanzees. This is your last activity while on this 6 Days Uganda safari. Watch the rescued chimpanzees in an enclosure. Later return arriving in time for your flight check in. This ends your 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Gorilla Safari.
