Detailed 9 Days Tanzania Migration Safari – Ndutu Migration Calving Season Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the JRO, our driver will pick you and proceed to transfer to Arusha. Check in at your hotel, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Burka Coffee Lounge for Budget, Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range, Arusha Serena Resort and Spa for Lower-Luxury.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
Your Tanzania safari guide shall pick you up from your hotel of stay in Arusha, welcome you to Tanzania and brief you about the safari. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
During your game drive in Tarangire, you will see wild game like gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others, as well as the various bird species which the park is known for. Enjoy a picnic lunch, and more game viewing. Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Serengeti national park to explore the vast savannah plains in search of more wildlife species such as the big 5 like lions, elephants, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. You will have lunch at your lodge in the national park before you engage in an evening game drive to search for wildlife species like zebras, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, kudu, gazelles, hyenas and many others. You will have dinner and overnight at Tukaone Serengeti Camp for Budget, Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp for Mid-range, Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for Lower-Luxury.

Day 4: Transfer to Ndutu, Game Drive
After an early breakfast, with your lunch box proceed on a transfer to Southern plains of the Serengeti, known as the Ndutu area. Look out for animals during the transfer, and amazing scenic areas of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Once in Ndutu area, get to explore the plains looking for the amazing wildebeest migration. Look out for the herds as they calve, as well as a number of other animals, all punctuated with a picnic lunch.
Later drive to the camp, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Sero Tented Camp for Budget, Ndutu Ngorongoro by Tanzania Bush Camp for Mud-range, Lake Masek Tented Lodge for Luxury.

Day 5&6: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience
You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Have early morning game drive and photography sessions as per preference. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Tour, Crater Rim Walk

With your packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge tour for a lesson through history of mankind. Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
After and early breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater and picnic lunch, visit the Maasai Bomas for a cultural encounter and see how they live in the Bomas. Return to the lodge thereafter for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 9: Departure
