Day 1: Pick up, Drive to Ngorongoro, Crater Rim Walking Safari

You shall be picked up at the hotel in Arusha by our Rowin Africa Safaris company driver guide. He/she will welcome you to Tanzania and for the safari, and brief you about the same. You will proceed to drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania, where you will engage in a walking safari. During your Crater rim walking safari, you will be accompanied by a ranger and you will get a close encounter with your natural surroundings in Ngorongoro and also get to know how to track animals.

After the crater rim walking safari experience, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Transfer to Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast as you prepare for a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater, and engage in a game drive. During your Ngorongoro Crater game drive, you will look out for elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, dik dik, antelopes, and warthogs among others.

You will also enjoy amazing views around the Ngorongoro crater during your game drive and also see flamingos along the shores of the alkaline lake found in the crater, Lake Magadi.

After your game drive and picnic lunch in Ngorongoro, proceed on a 4 hour transfer to Serengeti National Park arriving in the evening. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation in Serengeti National Park.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Today after breakfast at the lodge/camp in Serengeti Park, together with your packed lunch you shall head out for a full day game drive in the Serengeti Plains, looking out for various animals in the park. Explore Serengeti national park and engage in a game drive as you look out for wildlife species like the big 5 animals, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lion packs, leopards, elands, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs among so many other animals in Serengeti National Park.

Be amazed by the scenic beauty of Serengeti National Park endless plains, enjoy a picnic lunch stop, and chase the sunset later as you return to your lodge/camp in Serengeti National Park. Relax at the lodge as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Early Morning Game Drive in Serengeti National Park, Departure

Drive Time: Approx. 7 Hours

You will wake up to an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, from 6am to 8am. This early morning game drive allows you a chance to see animals as they return from the night hunting, and before many of them go into hiding from the scorching sun. Return to the camp/lodge, enjoy breakfast and thereafter check out with your lunch box in hand.

Drive to Arusha through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, definitely having a number of animal sightings en-route, punctuated with a picnic lunch stop.
